Last night there was a rerun of Seinfield (I am not sure but I guess on Fox) and the whole idea was based around George's girlfriend having a rhinoplasty. Besides Jerry made a very beatuful comment on why they call it Rhinoplasty. Did you see that show Mehrad ?

I sort of don't understand how important the beauty is for those people to spend that large money and undergo the risk as well. fortunately, this is a by-product of imposing Hijab on the society, which forces girls to show off all their beauty in their faces. This is also a sign of the gap between the poor and the rich in our society, the poor are struggling to survive, the rich are worried about their nose. (I don't want to degrade anyone who underwent this operation by any means, I just don't understand their mindset.)

1.After spending two years abroad, I went back home last year and the first thing that came to my attention at Mehrabad Airport where I had to wait for six hours for my flight to another city, was people's nose. It seemed to me that iranians' nose are on average twice as big as others'. 2. After six hours of staring at people's nose at Mehrabad airport, during the next flight to my home town, when I was watching the land below, I saw nothing green on the earth, no trace of water. I thought why on earth our ancestors chose this place to inhabit. 3. Spent one month in my home town and still obsessed with nose. Girls with nose job were visible minority (or majority! may I say). Oh come on, for Christ’s sake!! Ain't you got anything more important to write about? You'll be well-advised to stop bothering about those snotty-nosed, blasted little upstarts. They aren’t worth it. They really aren’t, believe me. Come to think of it, my own nose is quite shapely and remarkably small for a man of 34. But I'll be only too delighted to trade this "divine", beautiful snout of mine for a big, well-developed brain, in a good state of repair. Anyone interested?
